Utrecht University and Treaty of Utrecht: Cooperation in events
The Treaty of Utrecht and Utrecht University participate together in various events and activities.
EYOF means European Youth Olympic Festival: a biennial sporting event for talented young participants from all over Europe. They will go for gold in nine different Olympic disciplines. This makes the EYOF a perfect warm-up for the ‘real’ Olympics. An event as large as the European Youth Olympic Festival can’t be successful without the help of volunteers. Please sign up here!
There is a new edition of deBeschaving Festival, the festival where culture and science coincide. A day full of adventures and discoveries, which takes place on one of the most beautiful festival sites in the Netherlands, the Botanical Gardens of the Utrecht Science Park. The Treaty of Utrecht launches a special program.
The University Museum organizes the exhibition Peace of cake? Vrede: geen kant-en-klaar recept. It runs from 28 February 2013 to 2 March 2014.
At the Central Museum Renger de Bruijn organizes an international exhibition on the Treaty of Utrecht. This runs from 12 April to 22 September. De Bruijn is Professor Utrecht Studies in the Faculty of Humanities and curator city history at the Central Museum.
